Smooth brome  (50 lb bags) is highly palatable and is high in protein content and relatively low in crude-fiber content, making it a good choice for livestock feed.  Smooth Brome can also be used for hay, pasture, or silage, and is compatible with alfalfa or other adapted legumes.  Smooth brome is resistant to drought and extremes in temperature. Smooth Brome has higher forage volume than Meadow Brome but once it is cut it doesn't grow back much which makes it better suited for hay.
